A Charming compact desk or writing table — dating from around 1880–1910. These were often used in bedrooms or studies during the late 19th to early 20th century.
The top has a simple rectangular shape with rounded edges, typical of utilitarian Victorian or Edwardian furniture.
The turned legs are a standout feature. They suggest a Victorian-era influence (mid-to-late 1800s) when lathe-turned details were popular.
